BEANS AND COCONUT FRY
Instructions
- Chop beans and boil them until they are cooked along with some salt and keep them aside.
- Meanwhile, chop Onions according to the quantity of beans
- Add oil in pan
- Add mustard seeds
- Add cumin seeds
- Add asafetida
- Add 2-3 dry chillies
- Add curry leaves
- Add 7-8 fenugreek seeds (menthulu)
- Add some toor dal or chana dal (kandi pappu or pachhi senaga pappu)
- Add some urad dal (minappappu)
- Add 1 spoon garlic paste or crushed 5 garlic cloves
- Add onions and salt
- Mix them well with lid on for sometime
- Add turmeric
- Add boiled beans and fry everything well
- Add chilli powder to taste
- Add 1 spoon coriander powder according to the quantity of beans
- Add 1/2 spoon or more cumin powder according to the quantity
- Add more than 3 big spoons of coconut powder or more as required
- Add salt as required and coriander
- Mix well and check for taste
- Let it fry and settle on low flame
