BEANS AND COCONUT FRY

Instructions

  • Chop beans and boil them until they are cooked along with some salt and keep them aside.
  • Meanwhile, chop Onions according to the quantity of beans
  • Add oil in pan
  • Add mustard seeds
  • Add cumin seeds
  • Add asafetida
  • Add 2-3 dry chillies
  • Add curry leaves
  • Add 7-8 fenugreek seeds (menthulu)
  • Add some toor dal or chana dal (kandi pappu or pachhi senaga pappu)
  • Add some urad dal (minappappu)
  • Add 1 spoon garlic paste or crushed 5 garlic cloves
  • Add onions and salt
  • Mix them well with lid on for sometime
  • Add turmeric
  • Add boiled beans and fry everything well
  • Add chilli powder to taste
  • Add 1 spoon coriander powder according to the quantity of beans
  • Add 1/2 spoon or more cumin powder according to the quantity
  • Add more than 3 big spoons of coconut powder or more as required
  • Add salt as required and coriander
  • Mix well and check for taste
  • Let it fry and settle on low flame
