Instructions

  • Chop 2 medium onions
  • Chop 2 medium tomatoes
  • Chop 1 big or 2 medium ridge gourds
  • Chop a few chilies (optional)
  • Add oil in pan
  • Add mustard seeds
  • Add cumin seeds
  • Add curry leaves
  • Add onions, salt and put the lid on medium flame
  • Add ginger garlic paste after onions are cooked well and put on the lid
  • After a while, add tomatoes
  • Add chilli powder as required
  • Add 1 spoon coriander powder
  • Add more than half spoon cumin powder
  • Mix everything well and add water as required and put the lid on
  • After the gravy is cooked, add Ridge Gourd
  • Add water if required and put the lid on
  • Add coriander after a while and make sure the ridge-gourd is completely cooked.
  • Check for salt and let it settle.
