MEAL MAKER KURMA

Instructions

  • Chop 2 medium onions
  • Chop 2 medium tomatoes
  • Chop a few chillies (optional)
  • Add oil in pan
  • Add mustard seeds
  • Add cumin seeds
  • Add curry leaves
  • Add onions, salt and put the lid on medium flame
  • Add ginger garlic paste after onions are cooked well and put on the lid
  • After a while, add tomatoes
  • Add chilli powder as required
  • Add 1 spoon coriander powder
  • Add more than half spoon cumin powder
  • Add 3 pinches of garam masala
  • Mix everything well and add water as required and put the lid on
  • Meanwhile, boil meal maker, extract water from them by squeezing them and put them aside
  • After the gravy is cooked, add meal maker
  • Check for salt and add water if required
  • Add coriander and put the lid on and let it settle.

Notes

Tip: You can also add soya granules instead of meal maker and the curry feels like KHEEMA CURRY. Add little more Garam masala for that curry and add less water. DON'T BOIL soya granules, just add them in hot water and leave them for 2 minutes and take them and squeeze extra water. Add them in the curry after tomatoes and spices, and then little water as required and check for consistency. Rest of the process is same.
